Crispy Golden Fried Prawns Recipe

This will have to be the perfect crispy prawn recipe and with any leftover prawns we just know the right thing to do. We made delicious, crispy and smacking golden fried prawns. Hands down this is the one and only crispy fried prawns recipe. Its easy to cook and more importantly it will have the best crispy texture that you have ever tried. This will go will with rice and also this will be the best option for your kids if they need in of any healthy snack.


Its always important not to over cook the prawns as they usually tend to be. They can be easily overcooked or turns to a rubbery texture where we cannot even taste its actual spice. Tho its been deep fried but not worry because i promise that the prawns will not overcook or becomes rubbery. It will be just bite sized with perfect texture. This will be a perfect snack to your whole family and i can assure you that your family will love these. Have fun while creating this magical recipe.



Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 15 Minutes

Total Time: 35 Minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

6 - 8 nos - Prawns, (shell off & de-veined)

3 tbsp - all purpose flour

2 tbsp - corn flour

1 tsp - baking powder

1/2 tsp - sugar

1 1/2 tbsp - tabasco or chili sauce

1 - egg, beaten

4 - 5 tbsp - water

salt to taste

vegetable oil for deep frying

Recipe Direction

1. In a medium bowl add egg. sugar, tabasco, salt, water and whisk well

2. Furthermore, add cornflour, baking powder, all purpose flour and a tbsp of oil

3. Whisk them until it makes it to a thick batter and rest for 15 minutes

4. Meanwhile, heat the oil for frying

5. Now dip the deveined prawn in to the batter making it coat well into the prawns and deep fry them

6. Cook until they are golden but make sure to not overcook them

7. Serve hot with any sauce and enjoy while it lasts

Additional Notes

1. You can make slits on the side of prawns to make them not shrink while frying

2. You can add more chilly according to your spice level

3. Make sure heat the oil to a boiling temperature before start frying

4. Its important not to over the prawns as they usually tend to becomes rubbery while cooking

5. It can be literally served with any sauce, My personal favorite is Ranch tho
